This is the front page for the graduate course 20-770 on Communications and Networking which is taught in the CMU Electronic  Commerce program.

Overview

The focus of the course is on the principles and technologies that allow the interconnections of large numbers of computer systems. The course will cover transmission technologies, various local area and wide area network technologies, principles of internetworking, and methods for reliable transmission of data.
