The MSEC Advantage

Designed expressly for the needs of the industry, the MSEC program constitutes a curriculum  that combines business subjects with technical courses in equal proportion. This unique technology focus helps our students develop the critical ability to create fully evolved e-commerce solutions and strategies for today and tomorrow.

Furthermore, students in the MSEC program are required to work directly with companies on e-commerce projects through a semester long practicum.   Examples of such projects include designing high value electronic payment systems, developing Web procurement systems, and developing Internet strategies for a broadcasting organization. This allows MSEC students to gain valuable hands-on experience before graduation.
